You've heard his voice on the theme song to the NBC hit smash hit series "Heroes" and there's a good chance you own at least one, if not several albums, to which he's contributed, including those by Frank Zappa, Phil Collins, Talking Heads, Lou Reed, Marianne Faithful, Bruce Springsteen, Sting, Peter Gabriel, Van Morrison and U2. The artist is none other than Shenkar, a virtuoso vocalist, violinist, composer and producer who appears on albums that total over 35 million sales. It's been a few years, however, since Shenkar stepped out of the shadows to record his own project, but that will change with the release of Open The Door. A steamy, seductive, electro dance collection like nothing clubland has heard before, the recording features guests such as Natasha Bedingfield, Randy Jackson, Patrick Leonard, Wendy & Lisa, Train's Pat Monahan, The Human Value's Turu and Blackalicious' Lateef.
